More than one of our daycare dogs is known to sit by the window, tail wagging, waiting for the London Doggies van to arrive each morning; to return home, feet up in bed – shattered, after an exhausting day! Nothing gives us more pleasure than to see such happy dogs.
As we have always been one of the only fully liscenced Daycares in hackney, in 2019 the goverment brought in new laws for doggy daycares. We are proud to annouce that we were awarded the highest achievement, a 5 star rating proving that all our hardwork and determination to provide the best possible care has paid off.
Our Daycare Centre is split down the middle with small dogs one side and big dogs the other, this is because small and big dogs have different needs and activity levels. They can still see eachother and we go on mixed pack walks. But having daycare set up like this is especially handy for when we introduce new dogs and puppies. Meaning they are not overwhelmed when they are small and dont get too much stimulation if they are big.
Our daycare extends to the Islington (N1, N4, N5), Stoke Newington (N16), Hackney (E8, E9) and Bethnal Green (E2, E3) areas only. We pick up and drop off dogs with our fully air conditoned Vans, with the dogs safe and secure in purpose built crates. New for 2020 we have upgraded and got a fully aircondtioned Electric Van. This is a much smoother ride for the dogs, meaning the dogs enjoy the journey more, We usually take a set of keys to make collection and drop off much smoother, so you dont have to worry about waiting around for us.
Our daily program is designed to provide our pack with plenty of exercise, and canine socialisation. Each morning starts with at Least an hour long walk in Hackney Marshes, we then bring the pack back to daycare, giving them downtime and cuddles. we then conclude the daycare day with an afternoon walk in one of the local parks, London Fields, Victoria Park and Haggerston Park. We try to swap this everyday to cater to the dogs schedule so everyone have a great experience. In between walking, our dogs are able to socialise and play in a well established pack at our daycare centre, which provides an abundance of outdoor and indoor space. New for 2020 we have built an outdoor activity centre and sensory garden to help enrich the dogs, giving them mental stimulation especially important for our puppies and older dogs who cannot walk so much.
We believe that giving the dogs this mixture of walks, mental stimulation and enrichment provides them with a great fun packed day, unlike any other.
